Volunteer Opportunities

We could not function at the Richmond Art Center without the RAC League Of Volunteers (LOV). Thanks to all the amazing folks who contribute their valuable time and energy we are able to provide exhibitions, education, and programs to the community.

The RAC is committed to creating a space for volunteers to network with an array of people from different backgrounds. Attend our series of luncheons for volunteers, where you can become involved and impact the RAC LOV directly. Stay informed about volunteer needs and events through our monthly RAC LOV e-newsletter and our RAC LOV facebook page. The RAC recognizes volunteers who have continuously invested their time and skill set. For those volunteers who qualify, the RAC will be able to provide an official letter of recommendation. Our ultimate goal is to have a rewarding volunteer program where growth and development happens together.

Greeters/Reception Desk:
Do you enjoy interacting with people and making them feel welcome? The RAC needs you to greet the public at our reception desk! Greeters staff the reception desk for 2, 3, or 4 hours shifts, answer questions about the center and our programs, and help people find their way around! Contact us to sign up!

Special Events Volunteers:
Whether you enjoy interacting with people, decorating, creating signage, working behind the scenes setting up or cleaning up, special events offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for everyone. The types of special events that we have include artists' receptions, artist lectures, workshops, and more.
